Men's Basketball Inks Rodney Bartholomew
FORT WAYNE, IN - The Indiana Tech Men's Basketball team is proud to announce the signing of Rodney Bartholomew (Port Sulphur, LA). The 6'8 forward honed his skills at Corning Community College in Corning, NY prior to transferring to Tech.
While at Corning, Bartholomew averaged 16.3 ppg and 14.2 rpg for the Red Barons. This impressive double-double garnered him two-time All Mid State Athletic Conference player and two time All-Region III player honors. In addition, Bartholomew was named NJCAA All-American and Corning Male Athlete of the Year in 2009.
Prior to Corning, Bartholomew was a dual sport athlete at Plaquemines High School (LA). At Plaquemines, Bartholomew was named All District, All Metro, All West Bank, and All State in football, averaging 18 yards per catch at the wide receiver position.
In basketball, Bartholomew averaged 16 ppg and 10 rpg for the Green Devils and earning All District, All Metro and All West Bank honors. In 2007, he was named Plaquemines Male Athlete of the Year.
